Our beliefs are rooted in God’s Word and guide every facet of our church community. Here are some statements, but feel free to contact us directly to discover what we stand for.
Our foundation is the Word of God — inspired, infallible, and authoritative for our lives. Every decision, every belief, follows the compass of the Bible, a divine guide that shapes our church’s direction.
Through Jesus Christ’s sacrifice, we enjoy a personal connection with God. Our church fosters an atmosphere where individuals can grow in their relationship with Him, authentically knowing and following Him.
Lost souls need salvation, and we’re dedicated to reaching them. Baptism is an essential aspect of our message, symbolizing transformation and entry into our faith community.
Our church is built upon discipleship, as followers of Jesus who embrace Him as Lord and Savior. Being part of the Banjul Church means living a life of sacrifice and devotion.
Unity among church members is a divine command. We foster relationships that inspire growth, love, and Christ-like challenges, allowing us to walk in Jesus’ footsteps together.
Just as God is merciful, we too extend mercy to others. Demonstrating this mercy through aiding the less fortunate locally and globally is a core part of our identity.
People describe our church services as worshipful, energetic, and loving. We aim to worship God together in a big couch family room all together family atmosphere. Service typically lasts about 120 minutes and includes plenty of singing/worship, a reflective communion message, and a life-guiding, practical ,and useful in everyday life Bible-based sermon.
Nothing. We are glad you are here. You are sure to meet warm, friendly people at our services, but you won’t be singled out. And don’t feel obligated to give to our weekly offering or participate in communion unless you want to. There are no expectations for you as a guest.
Our messages are not only relevant but incredibly passionate. We teach bible-based lessons that help us all better understand our Creator, but also help us find meaning and passion in every day life. Through deeper understanding of scripture and historical context, we believe our teachings can help anyone develop a growing and vibrant relationship with Jesus Christ.
All are welcome to wear whatever they feel most comfortable in. Come how you are.
Our children’s ministry is far more than just physical care of their needs while you worship with us in service. We believe our children are the next generation of faith, and we have both their physical safety and spiritual health in mind as we create our children’s lesson plans. We provide a safe space for age-specific teaching from staff that have been carefully trained and critically chosen to maintain a standard of care that is above reproach.

We believe that the church is simply a body of believers who have become true followers of Jesus. If you want to be a part of this church, the first step is to study the Bible to find out what Jesus expects of his followers. To set up a personal Bible study or to attend a group Bible study in your neighborhood, contact a member or someone near your geographic location. If you found us online, please contact us directly and we’ll connect you with someone near you.
